Until I had boys, I never understood the beauty of football. While I still can’t quite wrap my head around all the physical and strategic finesse necessary to play the game, I have a much greater appreciation for it.   And now, for all of you who recognize the beauty of the sport, there’s a new coffee table book out, Guts & Glory: The Golden Age of American Football, 1958-1978.  It does a fantastic job romancing the sport with beautiful photography and poignant commentary.
